Auto Rust Repair

But the job is not very difficult and you can do auto rust repair yourself. You can use paints to remove the rust and repair the damage area yourself. It will save you a lot of money and takes a grinder and some paints to accomplish. When you have the grinder with you, it will cost less.
As the first step to auto rust repair, you need is to remove the rust from the car. If there is rust, you cannot apply new paints on it. Try to make the rust free surface as smooth as possible and less defective as the layers of paints suit the smooth surface better and cover up all the marks of the repair on it. You can use hand grinder to smooth the surface until you like the leveling. But check every time when you are using the grinder for auto rust repair. The grinder works so fast that it removes the rust within moments. Be sure you are removing the rust and nothing else from your car body.
Before applying the final paints, apply a primer on it for auto rust repair. Mark the area to be repaired with blue painter’s tape as it is non sticky and will not leave a mark when you remove it. While creating the base of the paints do not use thick layers and use three thin layers instead. Give the paint enough time to dry; otherwise the final paint will be spoilt. When dried, make the painted area smooth with hand sanding the area lightly. Now apply final paints on it for auto rust repair. You may use thin or thick layers depending on your requirement. But each layer should be given enough time to dry. When the paint is dried, wash the car to make it look as attractive and nice as before without any mark of rust.
